This summer at Desmoto Sport, the bikes don't stop rollin' through! If you need service done to your bike, be sure to call and make an appointment as soon as possible! Remember to get a safety check if you want to join in on all the summer riding.

Here are a few jobs and bikes we've been working on this summer!

We are currently rebuilding a few engines including the 1198 engine above. Each engine takes a long and careful process to rebuild necessitating disassembling the entire engine from top to bottom, replacing abused parts, and returning the engine to perfect working condition.

We are also tuning a 649 race bike... and working on these awesome bikes below: (Click photos for larger images)

When most of you found out that Desmoto-Sports's racer, Steve Metz, became the owner of a new 1199 Panigale, the image of a black and orange tiger-striped Panigale popped up. But beneath those black and orange stripes lie even more custom work provided by our mechanics here at Desmoto-Sport. As purveyors of speed and efficiency we supplied Metz’s Panigale with top of the line racing equipment including an Ohlins TTX 25 Forks Pressurized Cartridge Kit, an Ohlins manual adjuster kit for the rear TTX shocks, and a Dynojet GP quick shifter. With this equipment it is nothing but certain that Steve is out to reach the podium.
Other race-ready modifications include safety wire drilling all oil drain and water drain bolts as well as the front and rear caliper and front axle bolts. We also replaced the glycol-based antifreeze with track-ready water wetter and replaced clutch and brake fluid with race-spec fluid to protect against brake and clutch fade under extreme track use. And all after-market body work will be fitted to comply with the AFM’s strict bellypan specifications.
Keep checkin' our websites for new photos and updates on Metz's Panigale!

As the beginning of the AFM season approaches, our technicians make final preparations on the infamous Tigerbike 1198s. The Desmoto Racing Team rider, Steve Metz, will be beginning this season on the 17th at Buttonwillow.
Just to show you what we do at Desmoto Sport, here are some race upgrades and enhancements we've done to the Tigerbike to meet the demands of motorcycle racing:
Overisized Ducati Corse Radiator, this radiator generates an unbelievable amount of airflow & cooling necessary to keep the tiger from overheating.
Ohlins FGR001 Ultimate Front Fork Suspension and Ohlins TTX Shock Absorbers, the culmination of three decades of world championship roadracing and more than 100 World titles.
EVR Carbon Fiber Airbox, increases air box volume by 25% and decreases weight to just 2.2lbs (0.99kg), saving 3.6lbs (1.64kg).
